Just a reminder that our firm's new Marshall office is holding an open house this Thursday - I'll be at the courthouse in hearings from 9 to about 11, but Pam will have the office open (see here for map) from 9 am through the afternoon, complete with punch (Pam's special recipe - we're not talking Sprite and lime sherbet here) and cookies, as well as copies of our office's card, featuring Carol Pace's watercolor of the historic Harrison County… [read post]

  We had actually previously given the newly-framed original of Carol Pace's watercolor of the old courthouse (reproduced in our firm's 2008 Christmas card) pride of place in our reception area, but after seeing Bob's beautiful watercolor (left) of First Methodist Church and the Hotel Marshall with the old courthouse in the background, Pam and I decided to temporarily relegate Carol's piece to one of our attorney offices.
